Join us to identify the diversity of life on the Jackson County Greenway. Use the iNaturalist app to photograph species on the Jackson County Greenway, and the record will be geo-linked to our project.

Celebrate Southern Appalachian culture at Western Carolina University’s annual Mountain Heritage Day. Stop by the Friends of Jackson County Greenways booth to learn about the Greenway, connect with our team and discover volunteer opportunities, upcoming events and ways to support our mission. Enjoy a full day of traditional music, crafts, demonstrations, local food and family-friendly activities.
