Hiding under rocks and in the leaves of our rivers are aquatic macroinvertebrates – organisms that lack a spine and are big enough to see with the naked eye. Join us to learn more about these critters, what they tell us about water quality, and get a chance to look at them up close.
No registration required for joining this pop-up event. Come and go as you please.
Hosted by our friends at MountainTrue.
Location: Locust Creek Trailhead, Jackson County Greenway, 342 Old Cullowhee Road, Sylva, NC.
In the event of inclement weather, the event will take place on July 18.
